Fatip Lo Storto Gold Double Edge Slant Bar Safety Razor (Testina Originale)

In 2020 Fatip introduced the Slant line which they call the Storto which is loosely translated as "Crooked" or "Slanted". These 3 Piece Razors are available in both Open Comb (Testina Originale) and Closed Comb Safety Bar (Testina Gentile) models. The Open Comb version is more aggressive and well suited to heavier beard growth.

Fatip, the Italian razors with the original brass head, are handmade in Premana, district overlooking the lake Como, well known thanks to the expertise and skilled production of metals. The well-balanced design perfectly ensures a refined, precise shaving experience.

This model has a Gleaming Gold Plating and is a 3 Piece Slant razor with an OPEN COMB (Testina Originale) making it an aggressive, efficient shaving razor.

Lo Storto Smooth and Pleasant

Pleasantly surprised at how smooth and efficient this razor is. I shave Monday thru Friday but not always on weekends and wanted a razor that would quickly handle 2 or 3 day Monday morning growth. This razor handles that with ease while being smooth, light weight, maneuverable, and a pleasure to use! Shave Nation Team handled my order faster than I could expect, great service, they too are super efficient!

My first open comb slant bar razor

At first I didn’t know what to expect from this razor.
It looks pretty aggressive .
After a few shaves , I must say it is on the aggressive side .
The end result was a beautiful shave.
This razor is made Really Well .Feels great in the hand, the polished Gold looks really good .
If you are looking to try something different , give this a try.

Nice razor. Not really sure if the slant bar shaves any different than the straight bar razors that I have used. Wish that this was offered in a longer handle. Overall, nice quality razor.

Excellent razor

Just received my razor last week and have had two BBS shaves with it. WTG, XTG, and a third ATG on the cheeks. You will need a proper pre-shave with this one. Like the Muhle R41, this lady will know if you are afraid and tentative and will punish you if you don’t use a confident but gentle stroke.
This is a beautiful, but menacing looking razor that I love. Thanks Geo for everything, and as always, Shave Nation is second to none.
