Italian quality

This looks like an aggressive razor but, was actually really mild for me. I used it for cleanup right after doing a 2-pass shave using an Artist Club clone (my first time!) so, maybe it seemed mild after the aggressive straight edge on my face. Very nice looking razor! I also have the open comb slant by Fatip (another great razor)

First Italian made DE Razor I own

Knowing Italians have been making this an art form since the empire, I assumed they’d be amoungst the other fine razors on the top shelf, price notwithstanding. The best open comb I’ve ever used. Cuts smooth and clean daily or with 4 days growth with nothing to clog as a solid safety bar does as it is a very open come that won’t clog. It is, in my opinion, a very agressive cutting razor, and not recommend for the beginning shaver just coming off the 5 Blade cartridge jobs they sell at the local Pharmacy. A straight bar with a thinner gap is the best way to start. For example a Parker 22R which I have and can can speak for, though there are others right here Geo could recommend. Other that Geo, the best I’ve bought from you in a DE to the day. Well balanced. Just let the weight of the head lean against your face, angle it as need an go. For those who may not no, the Olive Wood Handel is also used as it is very impervious to water. High end butcher block in resteraunts are usually made from Olive Wood for this reason.
The upshot...Leave it to the Italians, Omega Boar Brushes for great exfoliation of the pores, a clean shave like you’ve never had, well, save a straight razor as long as you have the time and know how

Thanks Geo. Well done my friend!

Ciao, Arnie
