The Artist Club DX razor is made of solid stainless steel with a satin finish.
The blade holder can be easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. The handle has a removable screw, which allows you to adjust the pivot tension. The razor handle is made of a special polymer that is exceptionally heat and chemical resistant. This razor can be sterilized in boiling water, sanitizing solutions, or even an autoclave.
The razor design incorporates a Monkey Tail style tang to better accommodate multiple fingers and file jimps for a secure thumb grip.

For those who seek the closeness and quality of a professional straight razor shave, yet arent interested in the honing and stropping associated with a traditional straight razor.

Closest thing to a true straight edge razor

I was told that this razor is the closest you can come to a true straight razor and still have replaceable blades. I tried the SS Clone that a friend had sent but, had difficulty with this. He sent me some Light blades and had loaded the razor with a "Soft Guard" blade.I do not like the soft guard blades. This morning was my first shave with the DX. I started with a Guard blade and then switched to the Light blade. I got closer than I ever have on my neck and cheeks! I am learning fast. I think I will like this!

Stunning Razor

I have always wanted to shave with a straight razor, so after having a beard since 1976, due to a medical condition (Impetigo). I started using DE razors 2 years ago around once a month. Now I have jumped in with both feet lol. This razor is just beautiful and I had my first shave with it today 1st April 2019, I managed to nick myself 3 times, but not in the trouble spots lol. My skin is very sensitive so I may have to go for the lightest Feather blades until my skin toughens up.
This razor is a MUST buy and I don't think I will go back to DE razors again.

BEAUTY

Its been a long time and I decided to get a straight razor again. Not putting down my DE razors because I love them too but man I am impressed. First off, as I eagerly opened this razor I accidentally dropped her pretty hard about 4ft onto the wood floor. Just my luck. The razor took it like a champ. Did absolutely nothing. This razor is built very well and looks beautiful. I like the ease of changing blades. Nice balance and grip too. I was surprised I didn't cut or nick myself. Excellent shaves. Thanks
