Merkur 38C Flat Bar Safety Razor Set

The Store:
I just got into the world of "nicer" shaving, and was watching a lot of recommendation videos on Youtube. Cut to me trying to find a Merkur Brush to match the Merkur 38C I decided to get. I couldn't find one in any US stores. Finally someone recommend I try ShaveNation.com. Not only found the brush (in a complete set with the 38C & stand, which was perfect) but also realized it was owned by geofatboy who I then realized was the YouTuber I happened to be watching a lot of. So very happy I was able to find it and happy to support a content creator who helped inform me on the subject.

The Set:
Miraculously came in almost on time (given the current the current state of shipping right now which is a nightmare). Everything was packaged nicely, and was pleasantly surprised to find a couple ShaveNation freebies inside. The set is stunning. Razor is weighty, brush is soft but firm, and they match perfectly. I was not a huge fan of the stand at first glance online, but wanted one and couldn't pass up a matching set. Have to say, it has really grow on me since it found a home on my bathroom counter.

**Note About Multiple Metal Lather Tools:**
I also purchased the "Mini Stainless Steel Lather Bowl" from this store as well. It too is very nice, the taper base lets you get a nice grip, and it takes up a very small footprint. However, this particular brush has a metal handle, as opposed to say resin. They clink against each other, which can definitely break the zen of a shave.
