great shaving experience

Fast shipment and great product.

Great Razor

Great looking razor and feel.

I thought it would be a lot better...

This product is ok but the blade doesn’t show enough on each side making it so I a have to shave my head multiple times to get it clean.

Comfortable relaxing experience

The Merkur 47C is easy on the skin. The heavier weight with the long handle balances well in the hand and just feels right to me. It's a well built razor and I'm very satisfied with the smooth result.

Excellent handle

I was using a Parker before getting this Merkur, and let me tell you the Merkur is way better. It is engineered to tilt the blade in the right way to shave better and minimize cuts. Also the “lip” portion (the part that sits in front of the blade) is the right length and angle, I even tried shaving without any water or soap and it was a good shave! The Merkur handle was made in Germany, Parker is made in China.
