Excellent brush and speedy shipping!

I like the feel of the brush. It's much softer than my other boar brush, and will probably be my primary tool. I needed a spare anyway to get enough brushes to shave with my grandsons! This was my third brush so they can all shave together. We have a nice shave team!
And kudos to Geo for blazing fast response time on shipping. I felt like he was watching for my order!

Definitely a good brush

I wanted to try a boar bristle brush and this had good reviews. It's definitely a good quality brush and it's stylish. Handle feels nice. On the very first use I was a little concerned with how many bristles I lost but it looks like that's a break-in process thing, because it only happened on that first use and since then the bristles are all holding nice and tight. The boar's hair DEFINITELY behaves differently than badger. Like all the descriptions say, it's a lot stiffer and not nearly as soft. Whether or not you like that is a matter of personal preference, but if you do, I can say this is a very well made brush. Out of the package I noticed no odor at all. When I wet it, that's when I noticed the strong odor people talk about...but the odor seemed to be completely overpowered by the scent of my shaving cream, so personally I don't feel any need to do something special to remove that odor. I'll continue to use my badger hair brush the majority of the time but I'll use this when I feel my face could use a little exfoliating/massage or when I'm in the mood to use shaving soap instead of shaving cream, because the stiffer bristles are definitely better and lathering the soap.

Great Bristles

I am first time user of Boar Bristles, I never thought I would like using it. Had to soak it in soap for 24 hours to remove the smell that boar bristles have. But after that its one of the bristles i use regularly.

Great Boar Bristle Value!

Enough backbone to satisfy the shaver looking for a firmer brush. I rinsed it withhot water then soaked it in a solution containing shampoo, for a few hours before first use.
