Taconic Bay Rum Shaving Soap Tin

I bought this from Geo on my very 1st order a bit more then 2 months ago It's a very good product, but getting a thick lather using a old (1948) top grade badger brush in the mug and on my face was not so good. Still, the thin lather was slick, kept my beard soft and gave a good shave. Next, I tried my lugged lather bowl. THAT'S THE TRICK! When used in my lug-bottomed bowl the lather was creamy and thick like cool-whip. The sent is really nice. I love this soap, but I only use it now in the lather bowl, not for face lathering.
Again, the thin application from face lathering IS ACTUALLY JUST FINE and worked perfectly, but was not the luxury that it is when I used the bowl. I give 4 stars to the soap if you face lather, but I'd give 5 if you have a bowl with some good texture inside.

I tried the product this evening, and it was great. Made my shave go very well. The soap was very therapeutic for my face with the great sent of Bay Rum.

I used this for the first time this morning and was amazing. The sent is fantastic, i was able to get a nice thick lather that gave me a nice slick shaving experience. I had been using another cream and always had some redness on my neck before today. Will definitely buy again and several other things from Shave Nation. Thanks Geo!
