Pretty decent razor for price

Razor is good, but not shave ready. Even after initial stropping it did not cut well. After honing, it works excellent. It is lightweight and easy to handle.

Dovo-- Cronk Straight Razor

Advertised as shave ready. Stroped with green paste on linnine, it would shave but not great. Needs to be sharpped on stone before using. This razor IS NOT shave ready

Beginner straight razor user here. Been using shavette for a month. That was the problem. Lots of nicks. This straight razor really delivers. Using the Dovo Conk for the first time was a dream. No nicks. It handled like I was a pro. One or two passes is enough for me. Perfect shave. Guys, it's worth investing in a straight razor. I bought this Dovo Conk along with a premium 3quot, Strope. Then shave cream from Shave Nation. Will be getting sharpening stones in a few months. No hurry for them right now. Watch Geo's videos a couple times and dive in. Makes shaving fun. A lot of fun.
